At what age can my child start classes?
We offer:
Sparkle Babies class 2 months for the age 2 years old for Zumbini
Sparkle TinyStar classes for 3-4-year-olds
Sparkle SuperStar classes for 5-7-year-olds
Sparkle Bows classes for 8-9-year-olds

How do I find the right class in your program for my child?
We offer a $5 trial class for all ages, so your child can try classes and find the one he or she loves.

My child doesn't have any experience, is there a class suitable?
Yes, we take beginners of all ages; no experience is required. Our program is set up in a way that we can cater to this due to small class sizes and the classroom methods we use for teaching. Small class sizes enable the teacher to understand the different ways the child learns, meaning that everyone can get the most out of each class.

My child has not danced for a few years, but is looking to get back into it. What class would suit?
We offer different styles across all age groups, depending on what type of dancing the dancer is interested in. Salsa is our most popular style at the moment across all ages due to its free & expressive nature. We offer a $5 trial class so they can come & try to find the class that fits them best.

Are parents allowed to watch the classes?
Yes, they are, We have an open door policy & is up to the child parents to decide what they are comfortable with. Some parents drop off & leave the child at the program, while others stay in the lobby or the watching room, and others pop in occasionally. If we are at a daycare site or elementary school our program will applied by the rules and policy of the on-site property or facility we are attending.

Do you cater to children with learning difficulties?
Yes, we do. We have small class sizes and teachers who are well-experienced across a wide range of learning abilities. If you would like to reach out to us at any stage and discuss your child's journey, we are always available. All our classes are inclusive & supportive.


What should my child wear to class?
We have a dress code for all ages.  We believe each child is unique and has an individual style, so we welcome them to express this within the dress code and bring 100% of themselves to the program.  Check here for the dress code link :
 
Does my child need to have dance shoes?
Yes, this is a requirement. Some classes will need pink ballet dance shoes, others black jazz sneakers & other Latin ballroom shoes. Look over the dress code.

Do you have an end-of-year showcase?
Yes, we do have a Sparkle Showcase in May. This is an opportunity for the community to see what your child has learned during the season. It is a relaxed & amazing day for your child.  They present their dances on stage in the Spring and will include a dress rehearsal. The day aims to share the joy that dance brings them without any pressure or performance stress. 

Will I be required to buy costumes?
Yes, the program supplies, free of charge, some props that are incorporated into the dances. We keep the focus on low cost for all costumes. We will have a Sparkle Showcase info Packet in January for all the participating families.

Can I come for a trial class?
Yes, your child is welcome to come along to a  $5 trial class at any stage during the term 1 Sep or Oct months or term 2 in the months Jaur or feb To do, so simply contact us, through the Contact Us form page.

How long are your classes for kids?
30 minutes for all classes 

How do I enroll in a class?
After finding the right class, enrollment is available for you online at your convenience. 

Can I start classes mid-year?
Yes, we welcome dancers to start anytime.  If it is after March 1, we can't guarantee to order an end-of-the-year sparkle showcase
Costume on time, there is a $35 fee for Shipping and Handling due at sign-up for the costume.
